2010 Race Reocrd: 2:1-0-1 $32,100
2009 Race Record: 4:0-0-2 $11,400Trainer's Comment: Handsome Bane was too immature to start at two years old; so he made his debut run in the summer of his 3 year old campaign. He has some good breeding behind him so we are confident he'll turn out. He doesn't mind dirt or turf, but doesn't like to race in the mud. He is a bit slow out of the gate, but he should be able to catch the field with ease. He placed 3rd in his first two starts, but failed to place on the board in his next two. However, we have hope for this slowly-maturing colt, because his lowest PSR was a 96 (twice), and he posted a 102 and 105 at three years of age. We believe that at four years old he will start to show us a bit more speed. He should be starting to come into his own this season. Keep an eye out for him; he may turn into something special.
Notable Wins: Bay to Birdwood Cup (G3)

2009 Race Record: 6:2-2-1 $140,150Trainer's Comment: Handsome Politics is a solid G2 racer who we believe will do well at the lower G1 levels. He will run on both dirt and turf, but doesn't like the off-track. At two he raced only once and raced off the board - afterwhich we decided to keep him in-training until he turned 3. At 3 years of age he raced 6 times bringing home $140,150. We believe that at 4 he will do even better. He had a PSR high of 122 with an average of 107. He only came home with a PSR lower than 110 twice (91, and 88). He'll be racing in the upper G2 sprints and miles and perhaps a low G1 race.

2009 Race Record: $600,000 9:3-3-0-0Trainer's Comment: Handsome Problem should mature nicely this year and become a good racer. He likes to run on anyting, unless it's too muddy. He looks like the 2010 Racing Season may be his year. Last year at three he made his debut in the G1 sprinting circuit, where he came home with one win, two second place finishes out of 7 meetings. He looks like he will be best suited at 6 furlongs and under, and it is unlikely that he will see a race at a mile or further. He will strictly be a sprinter-type. We have high hopes for him; we are hoping to get him ready for the Sprinter TC and the BC Sprint in the fall.
Notable Wins: Newmarket Handicap (G1), Expressway Stakes (G2), Palos Verdes Handicap (G2)

2010 Race Record: 2:0-0-1-0 $7,500
2009 Race Record: 1:0-1-0-0 $8,750
Trainer's Comment: This colt is a little immature for his age, and won't be at his best until later this year. He is a dirt specalist, but he will be tried on the turf a number of times. His training has been perfect, thus far, and we are going slowly with him as he could be something special. His only fault is that he has been a little inconsistent in training. He has deep lungs and speed in his feet that will come out with more time. He is one of our early Derby hopefuls. We hope that in the next few months he will earn his spot to race in Kentucky in May.

2009 Race Record: 0:0-0-0-0 $0
Trainer's Comment: This filly is a bit immature for her age, and she may not start until mid-season. She looks like she'll follow in Informative's footsteps and will be a dirt sprinter specalist, and in her father's as being a late handicap sprinter/miler. Her works have been well up to this point, but she is too immature for any real hard works. She will be held back in training for the beginning of this year. Look for her to make her first start sometime in late-May to June.

2009 Race Record: 2:1-0-0-0 $25,500
Trainer's Comment: This Bellbuster daughter is doing extremely well. She also has an aptitude for the dirt tracks, but will race on a soft turf track. She is one of the most advanced fillies in our group and she likes longer distances. She has all the makings of a fine racer-filly and we anticipate that she will do well. Her ownly downfall is that she is a bit hesitant at the gate, but we have confidence in her abilites. She is our only Oaks prospect, and we are hoping that she will prove herself and will make a good showing in May.

Trainer's Comment: This colt could be something special once he works out all the little kinks of a young racer. He'll run well on dirt or turf, but doesn't like an off track - lightning fast and he's happy. He has speed and a pair of lungs that will carry him into the winner's circle. He is still a bit immature, but we are hoping that he works out the kinks before May, as he is our second Derby hopeful. However, we are confident that he will turn into a fine racer, even if it is not in time for the Kentucky Derby.
Notable Wins: C.S. Hayes Stakes (G3)
#7171. Perfect Picture - 2007

2010 Race Record: 2:1-1-0 $325,000
2009 Race Record: 1:1-0-0 $60,000
Trainer's Comment: We have had our eye on this colt since his dam was brought to Handsome Man; since we couldn't buy the mare we decided to settle for her first son. He loves the dirt but will run on the turf if asked. He is a little fiesty, sometimes fighting with his jockey and putting up a gallant fight for a young one, but he has all the makings of a fine sprinter/miler - Good Speed, Good Acceleration, Quick Feet out of the gate, and he loves running up front (a quality we look for in our sprinters). Last year he made only one start, but he made a good impression. He won wire to wire with a PSR of 119. This highly touted colt has a big future ahead of him.
Trainer's Notes 12/4/2007: With his big win in the G1 Caulfield Guineas he will be sticking to G1 sprints and miles, with perhaps a chance at 9 furlongs or father in the future. His win was unexpected against powerhouse Run Missy Run, but we are thrilled with his progress as we believe he'll get even better.
Notable Wins: Caulfield Guineas (G1), Cowdin Stakes (G2)

Trainer's Comment: This bay colt is slow to mature and did not race as a two year old, but we believe he'll be worth the wait. He loves the dirt, but doesn't mind running on the turf track either. Even though he is immature we can see some signs of a good racehorse in him. He looks like he'll be a good, if not great, handicapper in the future. He won't start until mid-late in the season - probably around July or later.

2009 Race Record: 3:1-0-1 $41,000
Trainer's Comment: This Handsome Man filly is fast to mature and looks like she'll be a sprinter like her sire. She loves the dirt, but will race on turf if asked. She looks like she has speed in her feet, but probably won't race past 7 furlongs. Her only real downfall is that she prefers running in the back, unlike her father, but we have confidence in her abilites. This litle filly has us boggled. We believe that when she is on, she will be very fast; but when she is off... we aren't sure what to do with her. But we love this matching, and we have faith.

#8040. Discreet Inquiry - 2008

Trainer's Comments: This young colt came to us from Stonewall Stables and has been training with us for about a year. He is half to our filly Informative and the champion Dancing Delaware. He is too immature for his age to join his peers at the racing tracks, so he will stay at the Farm for some additional training. It is doubtful if he'll race this season; we may just hold him back and start him as a 3 year old.
#8081. Disputatious - 2008
2YO Brown colt, 15.2hh

Trainer's Comments: This small colt also came from Stonewall Stables. He is well-filled out and looks to be a good colt. His training has been going very well, and he looks to be a nice colt. He is by Our Differences which makes him half to Led Astray, and out of a mare by the good racer Crown Prince. He looks to be a worthy son of Our Differences, and like Led Astray he looks better suited for the longer distances. He loves to race on any surface and has the lungs to run at the classic and long distances. He will be started later in the year when the distances increase a little.
#8154. First Lady- 2008
2YO Light Gray filly, 16.1hh
Owner: Hopeful Farm

| Maxzene | ||
| Vice President $237,500 12-1-1-4 | Victory Speech | |
| Sardula |
Trainer's Comments: First Lady is maturing at a nice rate and looks to be a dirt specalist. She doesn't really care for the turf, but she doesn't mind an off-turf track. So if she can find a soft turf track she may find herself racing on the grass. We believe that she will be like her mother and race from around 9 furlongs to 11 furlongs. But she will be started earlier in the year in the 2 year old sprints. With time and maturity she will increase her distances until she finds one that she likes.
#8152. Isabella- 2008

Trainer's Comments: Isabella is a very pretty filly who looks like her daddy - who is one of the premier breeding stallions in Photo Finish. She is out of a good G1 - G2 race mare who did well up to 10 furlongs. This filly is very advanced for her age, and will be ready to race in a few weeks time. She will be ready for the early spring 2 year old races. She will run on any dirt surface, and doesn't mind the turf too much; although, she looks like she will be running on dirt more often than not.
#8150. Lord Kayman- 2008
2YO Bay colt, 15.3hh
Owner: Hopeful Farm
Breeder: Hopeful Farm
| Lord Kayman $6,000 1-0-0-1 | Handsome Man $3,792,500 43-10-16-11 | Manila |

| Lady Kay $849,000 26-9-6-4 | Kinjite | |
| Triscay |
2010 Race Record: 1:0-0-1-0 $6,000
Trainer's Comments: Lord Kayman is the first foal out of Lady Kay. Lady Kay had excellent speed and could race with the best, but she didn't have the stamina to carry her the full race distance. She had the ability to post a PSR of 123. Handsome Man was an excellent speed and good stamina and would often post PSRs of 120 + (with 128 as a career high). He had the stamina to race at 10 furlongs at the G1 level, so we are hoping that he will pass on a bit of his stamina to this foal. Lord Kayman is very mature for his age, and should be reaching the tracks in early spring.
Trainer's Notes 12/4/2007: Lord Kayman did well in his first start; although he was fading a bit at the end. We are hoping that he isn't a 5 furlong sprinter like his dam and hope that it is just because it was an early race for a 2 year old. We are happy with his 3rd place finish in a large field - but he probably won't start again until May or June.
#8269. Maigh Eo - 2008

| Bright Sky $351,005 8-4-3-0 | Wolfhound | |
| Bright Moon |
Trainer's Comments: We bought this colt from Woodbury Stables last season and from early training reports he looks like he is a turf specalist. He is maturing at a nice rate, but won't hit the tracks early in the season, because he prefers the longer distances. We will wait until June or July when the race length increaces so that he'll have some time to navigate the races. He is one that will prefer 10 furlongs or more.
